Some classes are only magican classes and cant wear strong armors or weapons, they can only cast big spells with enormous damage. Some classes are only the tank classes, like the Warrior, he can wear the biggest armors and the biggest weapons, but he cant spell any cast, because he has got no mana. So your choise is important for what you are playing. Every class has got his own pros and cons. So choose it whisely to have a good chance to survive in World of Warcraft.

The character you can create in World of Warcraft has got a race where he comes from. The races are splitted in two different factions, The Horde and The Alliance. The Alliance is within the five races of the Humans, Dwarfs, Gnomes, Night-Elves and the Draenei. The Horde races are the Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, Undead and Blood-Elves.

Every race has got its own special-traits. Every race can choose different kind of classes for each character. Each land in World of Warcraft can be friendly or hostile to you for one of the fractions you choose. So choose your race seriously, because you must be happy with it and the race must fit to the class you choose.

In WoW you can choose two professions out of 10 mainprofessions. You can choose between letherworking, blacksmithing, alchemy, enchanting, engineering, herbalism, jewelcrafting, mining, skinning and tailoring. Beside this mainprofessions you can learn all three secondprofessions first aid, fishing and cooking. choose the right profession for your character, each profession is aviable for each characterclass, but not every profession is useful for every class.

The Warrior e.g., the best profession for him is blacksmithing and mining, because he can build his own weapons and armors. The mining skill will give him the resources for the blacksmithing profession. With everything you produce, your professionskill will raise. The professions help your character to get much better than without in WoW.

The basics of WoW you have to know are that you should specialize your character a bit if you want to win against other players. There are many differences between leveling and advancing a character for different aspects. For example a PvP character should have different abilities and skills than a character with which is only played in the RP mode.

Also you should know a little bit about the basic organisation of MMORPG`s like the words that are often used (imba, tank and so on) . Also the control of your WoW character and the use of his skills shuldn`t be completely strange to you.

To jump into the world of Azeroth you first have to buy the game itself and the addon`s. To install WoW you need no high end computer and only a little bit of your HDD space. When the game`s installed you have to download the updates that have been made since the release of the game and the server data.

If you have completed these steps succesfully, you can execute the game to create your character. There you can choose between your sex, your race, your class and your appearance. When it`s done you can enter a server and start to play. Now you will have to kill monsters in the WoW world and complete quests to level your chrarcter.
