As soon you have become a Herbalism, you then can go and search vor Herbs all over World of Warcraft. A Herbalist should never forget to have a Bag with enough Space left for Herbs, the herbs which ain`t needed, can still be picked up and be sold to other players. Out of the Herbs you have found, you will then make your own Potions which you can sell later on to gain WoW Gold.
