The traveling system in World of Warcraft is very intelligent. In every city or town from each fraction is a waypoint for an aircraft. When you have visited a waypoint in a city, you can fly there for example by a griphon. You can pay WoW Gold for traveling between this waypoints. This is a very good way to travel between all this countries, because it could take hours to walk through the whole land of Azeroth.

One funny traveling system is the underground railway between stormwind and ironforge. The railway is like the metro and you can travel between this cities by sitting on this funny train. This cost no WoW Gold, but it is a fast way to travel between this two cities. In the new land of The Burning Crusade you can buy a flying mount, so you dont have to take the aircrafts anymore. You can fly on your own. In Azeroth you can only ride on a riding mount, which gives you a bit more speed while you are traveling to somewhere in World of Warcraft.
